
Ian Smith
Ian joined the then Hampshire Museums Trust in in July 1998 to head up the external fundraising programme for the new £12.5 million Milestones Museum in Basingstoke.
Ians current role has since developed and he is now charged with creating and developing new initiatives that will generate income in to all eighteen Museums under the auspices of the County Museums Service as well as promoting museum based opportunities that will attract grants, charitable donations, Gift Aid and Government/European funding in to Hampshire
Prior to joining the Trust Ian had worked as manager for the Marketing and Sponsorship Department of the Lawn Tennis Association Trust before joining the Welsh Lawn Tennis Association as its first Chief Executive.

Marie McDade
Marie joined Hampshire Museums and Galleries Trust in September 2008 where her role is to bring in income from a variety of funding sources and to advise museums and arts centres on maximising income through a mix of business sponsorship and funding.
Marie came to the Trust after twelve years at Arts & Business. As Arts Services Manager her principal role was in advising arts professionals on how to build relationships with business partners, delivering training seminars on how to secure business sponsorship and running the Arts & Business Investment Programmes.

Ann Wharton
Ann Wharton joined the Trust in October 2008. She has previously worked in local government, in education, where she organised, and was involved with, a number of major events.
In her role as events manager with the trust she supports museums across Hampshire to develop a programme of events and activities ranging from creating childrens trails to themed dinners, festivals and corporate events.
